Pancake Slugs (Veronicella sloanii)

Veronicella sloanii (commonly called the pancake slug) is a species of air-breathing land slug. They have flat bodies and eyes that protude from beneath a "helmet".

They prefer warmer enclosures as they are a tropical species but do not require a direct heat source as heat mats and lights will dry out the enclosure rather fast. They are captive bred from my own collection are are approximately 4-5cm in length.
