Pink Foot Millepedes (Narceus americanus)

Narceus americanus is a large millipede of eastern North America. They are detritivores and will consume decaying wood, leaf litter and the occasional soft fruit or protein source. They can be handled and are quite slow moving but you will need to wash your hands after handling. They are captive-bred from my own collection and are approximately 5cm - 6cm in length.
